According to a review, very few studies have been done on the difficulties that nursing students face in clinical learning environments. These problems are not yet well understood. Recognizing the challenges faced by nursing students in the clinical learning environment could help improve student recruitment and training. Below are the problems nursing students face when learning in a clinical setting.

These students are subject to biases, such as a lack of peer support, poor academic skills, and a perception of their abilities.
